From a young age, I have always taken care of and loved cats.
I speak to them as they have zero judgements and allow me to hear my thoughts out loud. Their love is astounding! They knew when I wasn't feeling well. Sitting on my chest or near my head. Knowing that they are there can provide a comfort that is hard to describe.
I lost Bailey, a grey tabby about 7 years ago. She was a lap cat that would sleep on my chest at night. When I was 18 years old, I fell in love.
My partner at the time had gotten her for me and she was just the sweetest little thing.
Bartelby was her brother from another mother. He passed away only a few months ago at the incredible age of 20! He was my best friend, and I am still struggling daily. Bartelby was born without a tail, as his breed is that of the Manx. They are dog-like breeds and have to be near their hoomans at all times. He was always by my side. I miss him so freaking much. Holding back the tears while typing...
Fiona is Bartelby's sister from another mother. She was a street cat that I rescued about a year ago. All of her rotten teeth had to be removed. They were causing her pain while she ate. Now she has one canine left on the bottom and snarls a lot. No more tooth pain and gaining weight and being spoiled to the max!
Aren't they adorable!
This first post is about them because my shop is dedicated to them. They are my friends and my fur babies. They have brought me so much love, so much relief, so much happiness in my life.
Dream Meow is about my love for cats and the dreams that they can inspire me to create.
Welcome!
