I am the worst...at starting and finishing projects.
Right after I wrote the sentence above, I began eating veggie crisps and scrolling on Tik Tok.
Focus Shandi, focus!
I have what feels like an infinite number of ideas. Once an idea lingers more than a few days, then I begin to figure out how to make it come to fruition. Most of the ideas get started and within a few more days, get left to the dust.
There were a few events that occurred, propelling me to begin Dream Meow.
I lost my best friend, Bartelby kitty. It has still crushed my spirit. Etsy was getting me nowhere. I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted to do or make or provide or sell. It was all over the place. I was frustrated by everything. Beginning from scratch was the most daunting idea I had. Determination and my forever love for cats, thankfully prevailed.
You know, I watch these videos and listen to all of these stories where a person is running their own business and they say, "well, do what you are passionate about". I will always be passionate about cats. Cats have been a part of my life from a young age. Remember that show that made fun of a store that just put birds on everything???? That's me! Except with cats. Does it have a cat on it? I want it. I gotta have it!
Dream Meow is not only an artistic outlet for me. It is all my own. I run the whole shebang. It feels puuuuuuuuurfect!
